About the Ramblers

The Rocky Mountain Ramblers Association is a club dedicated to the pursuit of outdoor activities, and based in Calgary, Alberta. The club coordinates over 300 trips per year, including:
  • trail and off-trail hiking,
  • scrambling and some mountaineering,
  • snowshoeing,
  • cross-country skiing (trackset and backcountry),
  • and occasionally ski mountaineering, downhill skiing, bicycling and paddling.
Many day trips visit Kananaskis Country and Banff National Park. Multi-day trips may involve backpacking, car camping or stays at Hostels and Huts.

For information on contacting the club click here.

For examples of the trips we do, click Recent Trips or click on Frequently Asked Questions.
Membership fee is $25 for our membership year December to November. Free one month trial is available, click the Joining The Club tab above for details.
The Ramblers acknowledge that the area we explore, hike, and ski in spans many traditional Territories and Treaty areas. We recognize the land and the benefits it provides all of us and are grateful to those whose traditional territory we meet on or are visiting.
